His word is truth.
In it you can believe.
A guide, a strength
That you can trust.

The truth is there for you to find,
Search for it like gold
He speaks to his sheep through the word,
Of truths not yet told.
His pasture is the world
And we are the sheep,
Many folds are his to call
Not just the ones that speak.
His children scattered throughout the globe,
It is the heart He seeks.
He'll purify and fight our foes,
No more to be deceived.
Under His yoke we will dwell,
You just have to believe.

It cuts both ways.
You write well. If there is an Almighty my guess is his/her involvement is less than noticing everyone. There are billions. If that kind of power exists then God should at least intercede and abolish child rape. Not stopping that can’t be explained by any zealot that prints the virtue of faith in him. Child rape is allowed by God and that’s why I have questions. I respect any and all different beliefs however.
It's called free will.
Look, I’m aware of the catechism in detail. Attended Catholic Schools for 15 years and have had year long courses in each of the testaments. The largest hole in the theology is those exact words- the free will catch all. It falls way short of really addressing why an all powerful entity allows that pain. Free will. But people that address the lord with worship and live and personal prayer have bought into a system that has built in incredulity on that issue alone. Children fall prey to free will w suffering that easily could be at least reduced by an all living creator. That loop hole free will is a desperate incomplete attempt to continue to pull the wool over over the eyes of the faithful. FREE WILL IS A cop out that was never addressed by God but rather by men who wanted to cover all the questions w theologians arrogance and they worked hard to continue pander that man made hedge. I keep this mostly to myself as I hope there is an afterlife w rejoining of loved ones.

That's my point, or hear is my point-call no one teacher, there is only one teacher, the Christ. He's in all hearts and all minds, knocking, looking for someone to open up. The sooner we wise up the sooner all our problems are solved. He's not the problem, but he's giving us the solution. Love to you Bobby.
