The song of Falcon the Stallion

David Wakeling

Come Falcon the stallion, I’m ready to ride.
Out of the stables and off we will glide,
Over the high hills and down the low side,
Oh Falcon the Stallion, I’m ready to ride.

With my heart pounding and courage to spare,
We leap in  the waters and fly through the air,
Clearing  the farm fences without a care,
Startling the herds of grey geese if we dare.

Up high and down low, Up high and down low,
We cross the green meadows spread out below,
Gathering onlookers where ever we go,
Oh Falcon the stallion you put on a show.

But like every journey, ours must come to an end,
Its a rollicking good life when you find a good friend.
