nix :)

Since I’ve come to terms with my queerness

I’ve started noticed things about you

That makes me think that you’re queer in some respect

But then there’s other things you say or do

That make me think you’re straight

A lot of your existence seems to scream “gay”

Like your involvement with musical theatre

And your ability to put together outfits that suit you really well

But then there's your religion

That mostly frowns upon queer people and queerness in general

And the fact you call people “bro” and “legend” and “king”

If only there was a definitive way for me to know

If you’re gay or straight, or somewhere in between

Because if I were to find out that you are gay

I would probably try to ask you out

Or at least get to know you better

But if that definitive way

Told me that you’re straight

I would continue to suffer in silence

And you would never know

    that guessing game
    made so much harder
when questions of sexual preferences are involved..
its so impossible to guess at the right choice or action
its only after the fact, anyone can tell
if the right action was chosen..
I guess that's why only the brave
are guaranteed a chance at love
    I wish you luck
    and thanks for sharing
(And the fact you call people “bro” and “legend” and “king”)
when they're nice to everyone, so much harder to tell
    grrr
    lol
