I shall be..

David Wakeling

I shall be as your heart and beat silently for you,

I shall not fail for fear that you might suffer,

I shall be as one would think it good to be.

The splitting of the morning light,

Will send us forth into different worlds,

But I shall be your breath and live for you,

I shall not cease for fear that you might fade,

I shall be as one would think it good to be.

And so you are the air and I am the wind,

For you are not, without me,

And I am deathly still without you,

Fear not for I shall move you

And you shall be moved by me,

And I shall be as one would think it good to be.
