When measuring dreams, it clearly depends,
who’s called a foe, who’s called a friend,
if you look right, you profit with ease,
but if you look wrong, you hang from trees,
as rude clique panels, press red buzzers,
on those, who feed the society buzzards,
who gorge upon, the man-made banes,
burning reason, to keep up the pains,
too many a cause, to pull a trigger,
thus, everyone becomes a gravedigger,
saying goodbyes, in cosmic bursts,
with “worthy” wars, mankind works,
with such a divide, jealousy waits,
for Chapman, paused at the gates,
to shoot down John, in the Park,
imagine all the people, hating Mark,
hence, not everyone, is in the same boat,
jagged streams, means migrants can’t float,
and the money is sent, to somewhat sports,
that in turn, means our health aborts,
cancerous stupidity, we repeat,
when we win, we define defeat,
as all around us, becomes the scarred,
the choice remains, to list the barred!

- Comment from author about the poem: The division we make is shocking! The way we prioritize most of the times, due to popularism, is abysmal! This obviously means, that not everyone is equal, and everyone doesn't get to satisfy their dreams. We live in a time, where it does depend who's asking the question and who's answering it. The hierarchy that is both practiced and praised all over the world, means that someone is always left in the dark, or "Barred" in this case, it clearly isn't fair. I hope that you enjoy this poem, please let some sense of equality make itself know at some point in the near future, and as always, please stay safe everyone.

Thanks for the read Bobby O, and for your kind words, they're very much appreciated.
I really do hope, that a glimmer of an actual positive change can occur, to inject some real equality.
I hope that all is well.
