Soul Searching

Matthew McLaughlin

They ask me when I’ll learn

I say there isn’t enough time in a day

Procrastinating even having the thought

The fear of taking responsibility for my own actions

Or maybe that the disposition of bottles that litter my house

Proves my character just enough to show how much I heed said responsibility

just another number in the troubled youth

Striving singularity but that is our fucking trend

I wanna just act like a wild animal

Turn this trend into a nightmare for those around

Boozing will be a key instead of the downfall

Coke will be a opened door instead of a ring of fire (only in my nostrils)

I’ll Jack off till completion on my porch to whoever is attractive walking by

Experience freedom in its most extreme

I am a individual
