Trust And Abide

orchidee

Tune: St Anne

('O God our help in ages past')

Psalm 125

********

They that trust in the Lord shall be

As the mount Zion, see

Which cannot be removed, does stand

Abides e'er in the land

As the mountains are round about

And do surround, no doubt

Jerusalem, so the Lord is

Round about us, true this

From henceforth even for ever

His presence always there

The wicked shall not their lot spoil

Evil plans not good foil

Do good, Lord, to those that good be

Their upright hearts you see

Though the wicked be led astray

Lead [the] good in your peace-way

sounds a bit like something a certain JC is once thought to have said ... abide, abode a bidet .. 🐀

Thanks N. Dunno about bidet. lol. The quite well-known hymn is 'Trust and obey'.

A great and comforting thought that science would dispute with entropy. Loved the thought and the music Orchi.
