Need To Be Right.

Goldfinch60

Sometimes it happens,

You are talking with someone

And you seem to disagree,

But then you realise

That neither of you were wrong,

You just saw things differently.

That is the true way in life,

To be able to see,

See things from others perspective

Rather than the need to be right.

If only the world could see this

Maybe there would be peace,

Peace in the world.

So true Andy. Many times we don’t hear but just wait for the moment to jump in

      • Goldfinch60

Very true John, we must listen in our lives.

I agree Andy! Everything is easier when we're able to see things from another's perspective. Respect!!!!

So few people can seer that there are more than one side to an issue. Often there is no right or wrong, black or white only shades of gray. A good write with some interesting rhyme

Really interesting subject matter. It would be cool to see further exploration on the topic in other poems.
