Where was I?

MendedFences27

Where was I?

Where were you when the rains came?

Where were you in the flood?

Where were you when the war came?

Where were you in the blood?

Where were you when the winds blew?

Where were you in the storms?

Where were you when the war came?

Where were you amid bombs?

Where were you when the fires burned?

Where were you in the ash?

Where were you when the war came?

Where were you in the blasts?

Where were you in the lightning?

Where were you in the thunder?

Where were you in the Blitz- Krieg?

Where were you in the plunder?

Where were you when the Earth shook?

Where were you in the quake?

Where were you when Vel d’Hiv came?

Where were you in its wake?

Where were you when the snow fell?

Where were you in the frost?

Where were you when the gas hissed?

Where were you in the Holocaust?

this is nothing less than a literary/poetic masterpiece Phil ..

I hit the 'red heart shaped like icon' so hard and so many times to try and award extra marks, but to no avail ..

You will just have to take my word for it sir .. Neville

This is powerful stuff, you strike a chord deep within. There are things that happened in my lifetime, where I can tell you precisely where I was, and know how it changed our lives forever. "Lest we forget" is so right my friend, this is such a thought-filled and intuitive write.
