CURRENCY

nephilim56

From hand to hand
I travel
From birthday present
To crime.
To food bill
And flight abroad
My life changes
Every time.

Ive bought clothes
Ive bought drugs
From shop keepers
To childs hands
Sweets and toys
Girls and boys
Ive travelled
Land to land.

I am a ten pound note
No conscience or choice
No moral dilemma
No objection, no voice.

I would have not passed. Would have had to reach out to previous nemesis E. Nigma if Halle Berry was Batgirl and the voiceover was soaked with the tension of a John Holmes subplot.

I had nothing other than admitting I’m not very good at riddles.

The riddle poem is as old as the earliest Greek papyri and the tattered remnants of Norse and Old English. I enjoyed this one.
