Tune: Penlan
('In heavenly love abiding')
Psalm 26
********
Judge me, Lord, for I have walked
In integrity, talked
Of your works great, glorious
That you have wrought for us
In you I have sure trusted
Through life you have me led
Therefore my footsteps slide not
For pleasant is my lot
Examine me, Lord, prove me
Try my conscience, heart, see
For here your loving-kindness
Is before me, me bless
'Tis before my eyes, I view
You, walk in your truth too
Not met with vain, false, evil
Ones, but kept your way still
I wash my hands, innocent
Before you I be, see
So I will to your altar
Approach swift, not defer
That I may publish with voice
Thanksgiving, and rejoice
And tell of your works wondrous
That reach e'en unto us
Lord, I have loved your dwelling
Your temple, house, I sing
Therein, the habitation
From whence your good works done
Your honour there does abide
You continual reside
Such place I desire to stay
Through endless night and day
Save me from evil, deceit
In your way plant my feet
As for me I shall walk still
In your path, know your will
Redeem me, be merciful
To me, I shall not fall
My foot stands in even place
I bless you for your grace

I can't help supporting you MPS old standards... when a poet's name stops appearing, I get pretty damn sad and wonder all kinds of things... carry on!
