One of the most egotistical people he leaves none in doubt
That there is nothing that he does not know all things about
Yet old words of wisdom worthy of recall
That those who think they know everything know little at all
On the material ladder of success he boasts he has climbed far
He brags of his new two storey home and brand new six cylinder car
One of the high achievers of his side of the town
As a bragger he stakes his own claim to renown
His teenage son and daughter in boarding school he lives the good life
He attends the town's high achievers party with his beautiful wife
The managing director of a big company
He is one who does not make a secret of his financial prosperity
A leading braggart when the braggers does meet
For the town's leading bragger one who does compete.

Almost. It flows. IMO the material is perfect for cause / effect
We know the trait but what might happen as a result.
He’s a big shot making people feel small. “ stakes his claim to renown”… ( it could be) he doesn’t offer help and avoids joining. He stalls the line at the grocer. He used women as playthings He lost all his old friends.
There’s bunches of stuff that could found it out w more dimension. Instead , you just gave us a list and your write was to find clever rhymes
