Or 'Events in the nutty interludes of Orchi'

 

Now why is it?

That every time we're waiting for 'tomorrow'

That it never comes?

When it gets here, it's 'today'. Doh!

Can't fathom it out meself

 

And these old-fangled Latin phrases

Do ya know

I took so long finding out

What 'Carpe Diem' meant

That by the time I found out

There was no day left to seize

Night-time had fallen!

 

Here's a puzzle too...

If a Fire Door has a notice on it

'Keep this door closed at all times'

How we gonna get out if there's a fire?

Can't open the door

Have to jump out the window or summat!

 

And - You seen Bill Stickers?

Or his mate Bill Posters?

They're gonna be prosecuted

Aww - why? what they done?!

 

We gotta know these things, and similar things

Matters of major importance

 

A final one for now is (a true one!)

Why that guy walking backwards in the street

With his two bags of shopping?

I knows why (this bit may not be true!)

He's practising for:

'The Annual Walking Backwards With Shopping Race'!

What else could it be?!

Heehee.

              Dearest Orchi, oddly enough, you make perfect sense. Now we need to put you onto oxymorons, like "jumbo shrimp". Come to think of it, I've known a few oxymorons in my time, they are very unpleasant people. By the way, the video is great, on a par with most reality shows these days. Keep 'em coming my friend.
