M.E.M.

It would be best

If you just sat and listened

to what I am saying.

No predictions which

fill my mouth with lies.

Words hold power for everyone,

But mine are being taken away

by a lowlife worth nothing!

Don’t belittle me because

fear rules your world.

Loss has revealed weakness

in people embodying little remorse towards others.

They never consider

strength of character anymore

potent, than capabilities housed within

minds or bodies.

Money can’t talk.

Fame is not everlasting.

All we can rely on

resides inside our psyche.

Abilities unlock

when looking at collected

fragments, like us, expanding speech.

For some reason I found the odd stanzas (starting with the first) said more to me than the evens.
The first, for example, has much relevance in many (if not all) situations.
