Sometimes in life we get angry,
In in anger we may say some mean words.
But we should never say mean words,
Say mean words in anger,
As our anger will pass
But our mean words may scar,
May scar a person for life.
So even in anger use kind words,
Use kind words,
Or remain silent.

A fine write Gold.
Thanks Orchi.
The philosophy of a very wise man. 😉👍
Thank you AP, much appreciated.

The use mean words in anger is calculated to attack and wound, and too often irrevocable. Your poem speaks wisely of the need to be mindful, especially in anger. Sage advice my friend. Your choice of music impeccable. It almost looked like a Victorian rock concert, with young women screaming and swooning for the incredible violinist, much enjoyed.
Most kind Bella, thank you very much.

silent treatment
is my go-to, when fury overwhelms me
its petty, childish and fruitless
but it keeps me out of jail
and offers me a distance from
my frustrations and hurt
(more wise words Andy
I read and strive to heed)
thank you
Thank you Mek. Yes silence works but I often find that apathy is a great weapon as well.
