Summers end and these lazy days
Are slowly being packed away
While autumn fall begins to yawn
A subtle sign of things to come
One last burst of natures call
Before winter comes to take it all
So rest and enjoy this summers end
Enjoy the moments with this friend
And when Autumn comes hold out your arms
And embrace this season with its colourful charm

Doh! Now Summer's started up again it seems - and while it lasts! But I know what you mean. September can vary with weather. So can any month I suppose.
A lovely writing )) like the personification in this
While autumn fall begins to yawn‘
Love the last line ‘ colourful charm ‘
Lovely poem about the seasons
Me, I'm a Spring and Summer person at heart, but Fall has its purpose too. As always Sax, very well written. 🙂
Beautifully written! The font adds a softness and lovliness to this already charming poem. I see the hint of autumns's advance in my part of the world, and I will take your wonderful advice.
Autumn is my favourite time of the year where Nature's artwork becomes so colourful SC.

Such beautiful rhyme dear Sax. Hey it's going to be the hottest day of the year in the UK so I've heard, what a weird yet wonderful September the true Indian summer we have always spoken of. Enjoy while it lasts. 💖
