Each morning I awake
The day is mine to make
The opportunities to take
But do I know what’s at stake?
My vision so opaque
I could make a big mistake
Of that which I partake
Can’t abide another ache
Therefore I must strive
To be vigilant as I drive
In all that I contrive
That I may safely arrive
The goal is to survive
To flourish and to thrive
From all that I derive
Be glad to be alive
It is incumbent upon me
To be all that I can be
To set my spirit free
From chaos and debris
So much I can’t foresee
And there is no guarantee
We take life by degree
It's all relative, don’t you see!

I took a little tumble coming into the house from the garage this morning, nothing broken, but it did seem to shake something loose in the nogin, and I had to sit down and take advantage while it lasted. lol Have a beautiful Sunday my friend.

Dearest Dave, thank you for these lines that make me smile. I think we share the same place with regard to increasingly shrinking memory. Perhaps I've been eating one of the cakes that made Alice grow smaller, or in my case, making my brain shrink. I think I'd much prefer to end up in Wonderland.
