Plucked Elegance

Rebecca Drimmel

Plucked strings, distance brings, hearts of this beautiful stature of an echoing pluck with symphonies prolonging
Construing plucks of glistening tones whistle away
Tension overcomes to seize this room of eclectic harp tones
Note by note floating like incense that purifies the sounding elegance ringing plucks fill the air
harps elegantly ring, surrounding harps sing
Misconstrued notes sounding, ringing like hummingbirds singing
Harp plucks, hummingbirds songs, distant rings
What elegant surrounding, plucking stringed scores like royalty court with escort with plucks of floating candles

  • Comment from author about the poem: I wrote this poem because I absolutely love musical instruments and have a great passion for them. Harps are so calm, soothing and elegant. Harps have such a heavenly sound which gives me great passion to write about them!
