With No Cage to Hold Her She Learnt How to Fly

He spent half

his life

making out

she was

the one in the

wrong ..

But the longer

the silence,

the sadder her

song became ..

And tho’

he regrets it

all now ..

All the more

chronic

the ache

became also ..

So he chose

to unlock

the cage and

leave the

door open ..

Allowing her

once more,

to fly free again ..

You need locking up .. Alcatraz in its heyday would suit you just fine. Neville

She won't make it with botox breasts (swoon). She falls over before she starts, let alone trying to fly. lol.

Just the title alone has my mind running. Because...that's the only way....freedom! 💜

              Brilliant! and so penetratingly acute
              'So he chose'
              indecision, as plague
              of self-deceiving traits
              yet if we but acknowledge
              our fear, in its entirety
              it grants us a semblance
              of empathetic sincerity
              yet we, who make
              monsters of ourselves
              while trying to escape
              becoming the monsters
              defined
              by society's value systems
              can but, pretend and hide..
8 billion people in the world
              we can pick and choose
              all we want
but we stick to that we hate
              out of fear
              this, is all there is
              breaking wings of the angels
              who once meant everything
              to us...
              what a cruel, slipper slope
              trust can devolve in-to
in the hands of weak men

              • Neville

I hear you Mek and suspect only bullies and fools and those with a death wish would dare argue .. N
