Justice Judgement

Tune: Saffron Walden

('Just as I am')

Psalm 94 v.17-23

*********

Unless the Lord my help had been

My soul had not by faith Him seen

But would have soon dwelt in silence

Not perceiving Him hence

When I said, My foot slips, mercy

Of the Lord held me up, so be

I stand again on solid ground

In Christ my life is found

In the multitude of my thoughts

Within me, your comforts, kind sorts

Delight my soul, O Lord, I see

Peace is restored to me

Shall iniquity share your throne?

Not so, for you do reign alone

They do mischief, and persecute

The righteous, their pursuit

But the Lord is my defence strong

He shall come help me, all along

And my God my refuge sure be

Rock of my safety He

He shall deal with wicked, and bring

Thier wrong upon their heads, each thing

The lord shall cast them off and they

Shall vanish, flee away

Oh woe, is it justice that I married KP? I'm full of remorse that I did! lol.

Justice seems to have an old testament read to it. "An eye for an eye" But then there are a lot of movies that center around that. Some how it gives some sense of security. Good write Orchi.
