Towers Of Shame

Kurt Philip Behm

Academicians …

masticating and

 grinding their ‘truth’

Spewing out

what they would have us swallow

in gagging choking egotism

Regurgitating it back

in the toxic chunder

of a narcissistic reality

Papering the walls

of modern thought

with the bibs of their retching

As they hide within

their ivory towers

—festering in mass

Thanks BBG. It's a running feud I have with the academic
self-righteous and phony arbiters of 'truth.'

That’s freaking insightful. I too have an issue with segments of Academia that seem to concentrate more on keeping their pompous club elite rather than dispensing useful interpretation to neophytes that could benefit. I really love the word masticate and I’m jealous you found such a great way to use it

Very kind of you to say.

    Thanks
