Do Shut Up Sometimes...

So says Fido to me

And also I say it to myself

In a 'note to self'

 

I wish I would shut up sometimes

But I can't seem to stay shut up

I'll waffle on

Say 20 words will 5 will do

Gotta save on breath

Talking too many words!

 

A bit like when I held my breath once

For 24 hours

I did it - but didn't feel well after it! (Eh?)

 

We gotta be 'quick to listen;

Slow to speak; slow to be angry'

But if you've writer's block

Just write some old rubbish

In the 'That'll do' or 'Garbage' categories

Aww, why they say to me

'That's what you already do in your daft interludes - 

So no change there then!'

 

And why some of you not got 'u' on your keyboard?

With humor and color and other stuff!

I must know these things

Of major importance

 

Time for walkies, Fido!

'Mark them poems 18+

Where they're supposed to be' he says

'Or I will bark fiercely at ya

And my Master will swoon!'

        You stay exactly where you are, and I think I will manage.
        Met too many wafflers and ear bashers in person over the years.
        So if you should ever decide to emigrate, I hear Canada is a very nice place......

                  I love rambling thoughts they inspire creativity but get little done. Slow is good if your not at the races or in a burning theater. As for the u on the keyboard it should b used more often like I or y? O! lol good write Orchi

I've been away from the internet for a number of days due to a flury of events at home, but I come back this morning to this glorious surprise.
