The Dance of Overshadowed Children

Neville

The Dance of Overshadowed Children

The dance of overshadowed children,

above their shallow graves,

always takes place in the grey space

between dusk

and the break of a brand new day ..

Since that is always,

where and when, they all gather to cry ..

This breaks the heart dear Nev, for those who are used and abused. Very deeply felt.

              brilliantly executed Hyung
              it's sobering how centuries later
              your words mirror and shatter
              those heart-breaking words
              of Elizabeth browning:
'Do ye hear the children weeping, O my brothers,
Ere the sorrow comes with years ?
They are leaning their young heads against their mothers, —
And that cannot stop their tears.'

(from 'The cry of the Children')
I can find a way, to come to terms
with that thread of genesis causality
              as our reality
              if, our cruel universe
              would just
              leave the Children alone!!!!!!!!
it is the most morbid of perverse
              to hurt something so fragile
              and pure of heart
              I will NEVER, EVER understand...
(I hope that brave smiling princess
and her parents are holding-on strong..
              always in my thoughts)
