Twilight Three Ways.

Goldfinch60

Twilight approaches as the light fades

That time which is neither day, nor night

But where uncertainty is with you,

The uncertainty of the day.

Twilight approaches as old age approaches,

That time when most of life is behind you,

But where Your Spirit guides you,

Guides you into eternity.

Twilight approaches as the wonders are shown,

That time when the beauty of the world is with you,

But where you do not believe what you see,

The magic of life.

That explains why the twilight feels so gloomy-must be a sign and a reminder of the impermanence of time-this poem is a telling reminder with rich imagery…

        Thank you Parisab, much appreciated.

What proportion of our millions of years of age - you and I - are twilight? When did our twilight years begin?

        • Goldfinch60

          They begin tomorrow.

Erm, which tomorrow? The one that never comes, because it's 'today' when it gets here?!
