HARD LIFE

nephilim56 ( Norman Dickson)

Your face bore a smile
Your eyes no suprise
You wanted to say
What you locked deep inside.

The time was not right
Too many people around
So you tied up emotion
Layed it to ground.

The cold air was laced
The breeze held back the rain
Mingling with tears
Time bravely faced.

A clock in your heart
How cruel are they
Who stand back and witness
What only they want to see ?
