Digging Up Roads.

Goldfinch60

Yes we were digging up that road,

I don’t know why.

The traffic then drove a different route,

So then we started digging up that road,

Digging up that road too.

I know it happens.

Every time I get into my car

The road gods look down

And say “Quick he’s going!

Find the road he will be driving,

Will be driving along

And get the workers out there,

Out there to dig it up!”.

LOL. They have all sorts of spies on you, not to mention the drones. ❤️ 😂

      So very true Teddy.

In fact my daughter who has recently moved to a new house says that a neighbours drone often hangs above her garden. That will be sorted soon!!

This seems to be a common experience. In Florida they always wait until high season to dig up the roads, They say it is to save money since they can contract workers from the north during the winter season for less in that they don't work on the roads in the snow and ice in the north, but I think it is a general conspiracy to cause more confusion.

Yes they always seem to do it when it is most inconvenient for local people soren.

where do these councils get the money???
        every year, without fail
        bus diversions, traffic piling up
same road in a year or two
        huge divots and potholes galore
        like, help me understand🤷‍♂️🤬😤
        lol
tailgate traffic going to make us
        add an hour
to a 24hr day world, in the future

          Very true words Mek.

The worst one I have seen many years ago the office where I was working overlooked the main street in the town, the council relayed the road using brick blocks, once they had finished it it looked immaculate and they did a reasonable job of allowing the traffic to flow.

Six months later the gas people layed a new gas pipe in the middle of that road and covered their digging with tarmac!!
