Psalm 77 v.7-13

Will the Lord cast off for ever?

And from us favour sever?

Is His mercy ceased for ever?

And will it return never?

Does His promise fail e'ermore?

Will He remain faithful sure?

 

Has God forgotten graciousness

Unto His people, no less?

Has He in anger closed His hand

Tender mercies to His land?

I said, This my anguish be

But by faith the Lord I see

 

I will remember His long years

They eternal day to day

His strong hand I will remember

Will not forget, not defer

Remember His works of old

In the scriptures they be told

 

I will meditate here also

Of all His works that I know

And will talk of all His doings

His wisdom seen in all things

Your way, O God, holiness

From the sanctuary you bless

 

Who is so great a God as you

Be? Our God holy and true

You are the God that does wonders

And your grace on us confers

You have declared your strength here

Midst your people it appears
