HASTEN
Hasten from above and bless this yearning that is mine
bless forever and lock tight my grasp those voices I recall
those of image describing all
Turning to smile after tears from childlike fall
Burning of desperate measure that treasure that escapes like mist
If forgotten do I exist ?
Fear my mothers moments stay and never fade
Fear her light darkens toward forever shade
Bless my memory vault eternal
Hasten

Wow Bobby! Your whole sense of being was linked to her affirmation and her strength was what grounded you! You captured this mother and son attachment with an exquisite pen! Lucky to be so lovingly linked with your first love…You’ve told me once that your mom raised you right and it shows, sir…
Your words touched deep, Special Lady
Oh my God Bobby, how beautiful!! Purest love!!! 💫 And...because you exist, those memories are kept alive!
What a great response. Many appreciations
