Privilege Of Life.

Goldfinch60

I have had a long life

And that life has been good.

I worked all the time,

Never been out of work,

Retired happily.

I have had wonderful friends

And three wonderful relationships.

My two children with my first wife,

Almost forty years with my second,

Who passed from this earth

When she reached eighty.

And now have a wonderful lady

Who I love so very much.

So in my life

I will never regret getting old,

Because during my life

I have known too many people,

Too many people who have never had,

Never had this privilege
