Introverted Sage

Sharing my soul for the world to see... Is this what it takes to be free?
On a solo ride, mission a la carte... but connection is what I need?
A place to relate, go out on a date, maybe find fate, future’s calling don't be late...
The dicotomy easy to hate, and I'd like to get it straight.
Don't really need much more added to my plate...
As the answers come in I still have to wait.

Wrapped up in the mind - never stopped to check the time.
So many messages - thought I'd be fine.. What do you know, some of those helpers
Were from the place opposite of Divine.. Came into my life trying to take what was mine.

They just underestimated who was part of my lifeline.
My four corners include trines. Dizzy up your life like wine.
Rough around the edges from the grind.
Found out dancing too close to the fire sets you behind.
They soon did find.

Like a moth to a flame, tugs on my energy a touch or whisper of my name... but it's not a game?
When I can do the same? Pull you in and throw you back - came close enough to attack.
It's clearly Love - that you lack. Yet... you also lack tact - because I don't need to react..
don't want that kind of negativity in my hat.

Close enough to attack it’s clearly love that you lack
How cool is that perfect question in the perfect sentiment in the piece
