How can I be Lonely?

Saxon Crow

How can I be lonely when you are with me

How can this world be so cruel when I know you care

How can hate confuse us all when your love is so pure

How can we be so lost when you are right here

I listen with my heart ears and hear the sound of your voice

There is no noise that cannot deafen the words you share

And when I lay awake in the dead of night you are there full of life

There is no worry that you can’t ease in peace

There is no sadness that you cannot take away

Sorrow is there so you can show your empathy

And your grace is a cushion for my soul

How can I be lonely?

I never am.
