Tune: Sagina

('And can it be')

Psalm 135 part

*********

Praise the Lord here, His servants all

Praise the Lord, and upon Him call

For the Lord, He is good, look, see

To praise His name it pleasant be

His people Israel He chose sure

For Himself, His treasure e'ermore

His people Israel He chose sure

For Himself, His treasure e'ermore

And I know he the Lord is great

Will not abandon us to fate

The Lord above all gods always

We lift our hearts to Him and praise

Whatsoever He pleased to do

He did in heaven and earth too

Whatsoever He pleased to do

He did in heaven and earth too

Man's hand could not change or alter

Nor can any His plans falter

Also in the seas, deep places

He does as He wishes, graces

E'er prevail, He keeps, sustains all

Making rains too, on earth to fall

E'er prevail, He keeps, sustains all

Making rains too, on earth to fall

Winds from his storehouses rough, calm

Yet He protects, keeps us from harm

Wind and he rain, calm and sunshine

All come under His plans, align

He whose name does endure for e'er

Remembrance of the Lord fails ne'er

He whose name does endure for e'er

Remembrance of the Lord fails ne'er
