And the Lord God will plenteous
In every work make us
Work of your hand, fruit of body
And fruit of cattle, see
And in fruit of your land, for good
will bless, provide your food
Will rejoice over you again
As so to former kin
By humility and the fear
Of the Lord, it kept near
By such are riches, life, honour
His blessings do confer

- Comment from author about the poem: A hymn-poem in 8.6.8.6. I started a series on aspects of 'wealth'. It didn't get far. It was a very short series of 2 poems! In the Old Testament, wealth, material and spiritual, was seen as a sign of God's favour.

I suspect there might still be one or two who view wealth (fiscal wealth) similarly .. yet there are so many more ways to be rich that are ignored and less valued .. we are a very greedy species .. Neville
Thanks N.

Good fortune is best when shared. Hopefully those who have been so blessed with gain, will also choose to give. Lovely!
