Fallen

Teddy.15

My darling

if you ever have doubts of my love

know that since you've been gone

my heart has too

lost within my very soul

I sleep alone

yet, I dream of you

the only thing I hold in my palms

are tears that bleed

from my aching eyes

tears of lost love

and as they slip through my fingers

so do you

my darling

if you ever have doubts of my love

know this…

even when the great Raven visits me

in the fall of the moon...

I will still be awaiting

your return.

So softly and tenderly, you've captured in this poem the aching heart for one who is gone. As always, a beautiful pic to accompany your beautiful words.
