Notice of absence from Neville
If I get the thumbs up tomorrow from my Doc, I hope to be in Miami on Friday for three days before jumping ship and spending three weeks sailing around South America .. Sheesh, what we do to try n get a touch of inspiration eh' .. Take care while I'm away & please forgive any delay in my going quiet for a while .. Now Looking Back With Anticipation
Slow down child
don’t wish
your life away
like that ..
We know its late
but the cogs
and the wheels
are still turning ..
And while
I dare not look
back to see
what the future
might hold
by consulting
the leaves in my
new china
teacup darling ..
Each swirling
earl grey
murmeration
that I previously
found there ..
Now fills me
to the very brim
with much
love and indeed,
joyful anticipation ..

This poem is so moving dear Nev. It speaks to me of our children, of the hope and anticipation we have for their future, and of the love and pride we feel as we watch them blossom, as we knew they would. A father's heart here, I think. Beautiful!!
