Battlefields

John Prophet

Battlefields.
Eons past
to
modernity.
Clubs
to tanks.
War,
carnage.
Death.
From the
dawn of
recorded
time.
Millions
slaughtered.
Blood soaked
land.
Oozing
life,
meaning.
Meaning,
point?
Narratives,
mind control.
Programed.
Mindless
puppets,
charging the
field.
Dying.
People
don’t
rule the
world.
Narratives
rule the
world.
People,
simply
doing
what
they’re
told!

    Powerful work.

Such true words John, those that start wars are never in the battle grounds.

No they’re not. Twenty somethings forfeiting their future for some irrelevant narrative. Thanks for reading Andy.
