The Struggle

We are struggling everyday , though we don't show it,

We try to hide it so that people don't know it,

We struggle with our faith, we struggle with our bills,

We struggle with the decisions that bring our wallets to nil,

We struggle at work, just trying to get through the day, 

We struggle with everything in every single way,

And then our paths cross with someone less fortunate than we,

And the blessings we have , we can finally see,

At least we are happy with a roof over our heads,

At we have a warm bed at night to lay our weary heads,

At least we have a job, When many don't even have that,

When some sleep on the corner, with not even a mat,

So let's help each other instead of judge and hate,

Because we never know when the tables could turn and that could be our fate,

Let's love one another, help one another and pray,

That things get better for all in every single way,

 

So Lord, I pray that you give us the will to,

To be less like us and more like you,

Father I pray for forgiveness for all that I've said and done,

Bring your children together Lord and make us one.

Lord give me the will to resist the temptation of the evil one,

Because I belong to You and Jesus Christ your Son.

Thank you Father for the blessings that you have given to me,

Thank you God for taking the reins of my life , I need you to lead,

Thank you Lord for the people You've brought into my life so far,

I will attempt to shine bright as the brightest star,

So Lord in closing I must say,

Thank you for redeeming me and for loving me in every way,

AMEN
