Forever a beautiful nightmare

Carmine

As I try to deepen my sleep,

I could only see you in the plushies you shared,

I could only see mirages of you where others stand,

I tell myself I moved up the stairs,

Just to fall down jumping trying to catch your spring leaf,

Hearing our memories in every song I hear,

Forever stuck in a nightmare that we don't share,

Yet I embrace the frustrations with a dance,

Playing theater with my friends,

Saying it's okay I moved on,

Saying it's okay I don't care,

Only to fall down into another panic attack,

Drowning myself in my own curiosity,

Maybe I turned my romance,

into obession that I don't want to lose,

You can call me a stalker with your feelings,

But I just can't forget my own reality,

As I forever more I'll dream about this,

Forever in a beautiful nightmare,

For one last conversation.
