- Comment from author about the poem: A hymn-poem in 8.6.8.6. This is the last in a short series on wealth. There is the Old Testament view again, of blessings of material wealth. In New Testament times it is related more to spiritual wealth.

Thanks N, yes.
Else all types and characters of locusts beset or are swept away…
Thanks CB.
"It is easier for a camel to pass through the eye of a needle than for a rich man to enter the kingdom of God". It's always been a favorite of mine. Beautiful !
Thanks Bella. You got a camel? you tried that?! heehee.
So far it's only worked with a small rodent, but I'm still trying. lol
Erm, I've not quite got the spirit of it - saying 'Yep, sure is a sacrament to me; any spare cash? pass it to me!' lol. you got any of that lucre stuff?!
I went through all the pockets before doing laundry, and all I found was filthy, but no lucre. lol
Grateful to God for the wealth of verse produced by you, kind and gentle man.
Thanks Gary. I'm nasty and harsh to my 'wife' KP. My eccentric imaginings. Do you know KP - Kate Price in the UK, fond of the botox, etc, etc? I supposedly married her one Halloween (when else?) and my life has got worse every day since! lol. It's my daftness on here.
Good one Orchi.
Thanks Gold.
