Prayer of Thanks
Be thy saint or sinner, runner up or winner, may ye bask in God's grace, ever thankful for our wondrous bounty of food, of friends , and family. Smiled on by Blessings Bestowed, our eyes tilt and shine humbly toward the heavenly sky, as We, Dear Lord, say Thank You with a joyful cry!

- Comment from author about the poem: It’s a brand new update and designed to be a traditional Thanksgiving Grace. Should any of the stately poets on this site find that these humble words may serve as a prayer I’d be honored if anyone chose to add it to tradition and the more tables it blesses it strengthens our community with the Symbol of talking to the lord.

I am obsessed by revisiting David Bowie and each time I find another form of inspiration for his theatrical and poetic approach-of course I have to keep listening to “the Man Who Sold the World” as my life’s cover (for sound and not necessarily lyrics.) Those guitar chords are still out of this world and I beg my husband and son to play them over and over again-see if you like to listen soon-best
Would love to hear that. And please direct me to a few Bowie tunes that hit those guitar licks , I truly am devoid of any Bowie expertise after Under Pressure and that other one
