Collateral

Miss_Dreamer

I'm not trying to hurt people

But there is a war going on inside my brain

So when people get too close

They are at risk of intercepting some of that pain

I'm trying to minimize the collateral

Shielding them with my own body

Doing everything to block out the unnatural

Feelings and thoughts that no one can know

I'm trying to fix this on my own

I didn't mean to make things so difficult for you

But I feel like I'm standing in the middle of a warzone

I'm lost and scared and I don't know what else to do

But ask you for help

I'm sorry
