As sounded the first advent call

Christ comes to one and all

On this Earth, Saviour, to us save

The way to God did pave

 

A second time He shall return

All peoples may this learn

And be prepare. live in the light

'Til we see Him by sight

 

Light of the world, darkness dispels

Good news the gospel tells

Of Him to take his people home

We pray His kingdom come

 

Though long we wait, yet shall the time

Be in life's plan and rhyme

His second advent be fulfilled

All in God's timing willed
