Focus on the future, instead of living in the past,

Look ahead to what's to come instead of what happened last,

The key to a healthy life is learning from your mistakes,

In order to grow, errors and oops is what it takes,

We trust the wrong people and pass by the good ones,

Just to live in the moment and to have a little fun,

I've had my share of living and learning,

I've definitely had hard times, but now the tables are turning,

Things are looking up and I'm trusting God to steer me right,

I've given up on trusting myself and I am beginning to fight,

I'm fighting for my life and my salvation, trusting in our Lord,

Because I'm living for Him and I am severing the devils cord,

Satan's hold on me doesn't exist anymore
