The Sublime Joy of Disagreement

GeekSusie

Oh, the joy of disagreement, how sublime!

Expressing opinions, it's a dangerous crime.

Disagree with someone, face the accusation,

Of ism's and ist's, it's a grand sensation.

You dare to think differently, oh, what a shame!

You must be labeled and given a name.

Because heaven forbid we have diverse views,

We must silence dissent and light the fuse.

Just because I disagree, you see,

Doesn't mean I'm filled with bigotry.

But no, you insist on playing the victim,

Using accusations as a wicked stratagem.

Opinions are sacred, or so they say,

But only if they align, come what may.

If you dare challenge the status quo,

Prepare to be labeled, it's a tragic blow.

So let's all march in lockstep, never question,

For the sake of harmony, let's stifle expression.

Because heaven forbid we engage in debate,

Let's stick to our echo chambers, it's our fate.

Oh, the joys of being accused of ism's and ist's,

Simply because we dare to resist.

But fear not, my friend, sarcasm is our shield,

In this absurdity, our sanity is sealed.

    Sarcasm as a shield.
    Strong symbolism. Nice
