Suburban Sunflower

Neville

Suburban Sunflower

The moment that she bit

deep into her

ripe city peach like that ..

Was the very

same moment, he closed

both his eyes

and imagined handfuls of

apricots and a

single suburban sunflower ..

It was also

then that he realised it was

raining, he was

no longer starving, but yet

still hungry

for a small portion of her ..

Was she the apricot or one of the sunflowers? I'm thinking Sunflower. This made me hungry for some peach pie.

Your surburban sunflower stimulates the senses. She must have been the apple of your eye. Tasty work.
