go back to your superficial visions
where loveliness is worn
like chic facades
substance missing from behind the mask

when fantasy escapes your emptiness
stripped naked to the rudiments
who then will be your liberator
your confidant
your muse

shadows smudge your perfect illusions
while you look the other way
and delusions consume you
leave me now in fragmented silen

    When fantasy escapes …..emptiness seems opposed to the poems point of view,?
    Rather , when fantasy is replaced by emptiness —to my ear is more consistent to the exvelkent mood and motion of the piece ?!!
