Lord, help us still to trust in you

By your grace us renew

Where hearts are heavy, oppressed, sad

Come to us, make us glad

 

If sin the cause, we pray forgive

So in your sight we live

Upheld by you throughout each day

Help us to watch and pray

 

Of if it sickness, sorrowing

Our needs to you we bring

Believing you hear, will us aid

Trust, soul, be unafraid

 

And then when troubles ease, and care

You still with us do share

Your presence and your Spirit sure

He abides evermore

 

Show us your will where we perplexed

Or be in heart, mind, vexed

Your peace shall keep us undistressed

So in you we be blessed
