Rank Order
Don’t think for one moment
you might be second best ..
That would be, ridiculous ..
Since you were by no means
whatsoever, that high up the list ..

Perfection in the way this has been executed. The last couplet goes for the jugular. Masterful in delivery Neville. What a put down for someone in cloud cuckoo land π
I am smiling so BIG re your insight that I risk inadvertently slicing the top of me head off .. π
For Godβs sake donβt be that careless. Itβs Christmas π
The title by the way is a brilliant play on words.
................................................. π
What number was I on the list?! lol.
You were write up there down the bottom ππ£π₯ππ
I guess that makes two of us Orchi, at least that way there's no let down. π
Someone else might come along.. maybe
The more the merrier, so up the ladder we climb. π
Someone just got put in their place. All need remember, the higher up you go the further you can fall.
The longer the list the more to be disappointed.
A lot to be said for this short of a poem. The message came in loud and clear. Why do people insist on being "Rank"ed? it's as if everything is a game. Enjoyed this one. - Phil A.
I'm probably sure I'm with you on this Phil, there are far too many who think (feel & believe) anything other than their being number one is the end of the world .. or impossible .. am so glad you came by sir .. Neville
Yeh - I'll slide in at the bottom and give certain needy folks above (not immediately above!) a leg up....they tell me its getting close to Christmas, so let's play at forgiveness and all that.......
Good morning Dave, if indeed that's true, then I'll give you a hand ..
'if indeed that's true'?? Getting a wee bit cynical in your...ah...maturity??
This is superb, I love the attitude.
Thanks Tom. Neville
Such true words Neville but many idiots think they are.
Andy
