A Snog is For Life Not Just for Christmas
My word,
how we kissed back
then ..
Until both our
tongues
ached and then they
became
delightfully numbed ..
I also recall
your breath and how
it always
tasted so minty fresh ..
With an
aftertaste I just can’t
put my finger on ..
I used to
smoke Marlboro’s
back then ..
So can’t imagine or
rather,
don’t want to imagine
what mine
must have tasted of ..
It must
have been love surely ..

Love certainly is the best thing ever Neville.
Andy
Yes I smoked Marlboro back in the day. Gave up smoking 41 years two months one week ago today. Not that I am counting of course. LOL
Just about twice as long ago as me then .. thanks Andy & yes, it is isn't it without any doubt at all .. Neville
Now my version is:
A snog (with KP) is never for Christmas, and never for any day! lol.
Agghh! Here she comes with the mistletoe.
You do realise its poisonous don't you .. Maybe she's trying to tell you something .. Neville
I put it in a pie, instead of cherries, and fed it to her. lol.
A faggy snog with them Marlboro's. Yuk! Though I'd rather kiss a smoking chimney than KP.
Its about the same thing Orchi. π
A snog is a kiss? Well that's a new one for me. I remember one girlfriend I had where we "snogged" for about two hours in an attempt to get into the Guinness World Book of Records. Orchi probably won with KP. π²
yes it is this side of the pond anyway .. I was not sure whether anyone outside of this emerald isle would understand hence the hastily added key ..
At first, I said to myself, \"Huh\" then I read it again, and again in its context. Then I decided that it\'s just N being his ever-interesting self. Well put my ingenious friend. ππ Merry Christmas and a very Happy New Year to you as well.

Lovely. Excellent work.
Ta = English for thanks.
Of course it was love Neville. My other half smoked Cafe Creme, those little cigars, till he gave up over two decades ago. Kisses sweeter than wine. Now that word snog is a rave from the grave. You must be as ancient as me. Here!s wishing you a very merry Christmas abundant with kisses.
Bless you my very dearest of Cassies, I remember those little rascals too .. the CafΓ© CrΓ¨me's I mean & a single kiss as opposed to a snog, I guess I must be .. so here's wishing the very same to you πx
All you wish for. Much joy to you and yours dear Neville π

We all tolerate the intolerable when love is involved. This brings it into focus . Well done Neville
Cheers my friend, much appreciated .. Neville
