It’s Not What it Used to Be
Well that’s that
then,
one more
summer gone ..
Thirteen
whole days
of partial sun ..
Not in a row
though,
but scattered
so very
randomly
between May
and September ..
Not like
it used to be
when we
were so young ..

Reverse climate change or selective memory?
The sun down here will fry an egg but maybe it's always been that way?
I am hoping to see that egg fry in Jan 2025
It's the right season if coming down under?
The older I get I realize how much of a traditionalist I've become. Great write N.
Me too .. Cheers AP ..
Bloomin awful summer, apart from June. I too can remember long hot summers. That was an age ago. Six weeks summer holiday when I was at school seemed like a life time. Out in the fresh air every day. Packed lunch and off to Churchill’s swimming pool. Those were the days:) Reflecting here Neville, not moaning. And as I look out my window, more dull and more wet. Still not moaning.
I am so effin glad we are in the same corner our Cassie .. Neville
